Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) was established on the 7th of December 1982. It is a preceding agency of the Civil Aviation Department and a public sector institution that is authorized by the government of Pakistan to supervise all kinds of activities related to civil aviation in the country. This organization is also a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) which is a specialized autonomous body of the United Nations. PCAA is responsible and authorized to manage around 44 public airports in Pakistan under the management of Secretary Aviation & Director General Mr. Shoukat Ali. This organization comprises of 3 divisions, i.e. Airports & Operation Division, Support Division, and Regulatory Division, respectively. The headquarter of CAA is situated in Jinnah International Airport, which is also known as Drigh Road Airport of Karachi, Pakistan.
