Pakistan Rangers
The Pakistan Rangers is a semi-militarized force of the federal government of Pakistan. This force is a branch of civil armed forces and comes under the authority of the Interior Secretary. The main purpose of Rangers is to safeguard the country by operating against crimes and terrorism. This force usually operates with Pakistan Armed Forces to provide assistance on borders. The headquarter of this division is in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, Pakistan. The manpower of this paramilitary force is 25,000 active personnel who are tasked with maintaining law and order situation domestically as well as on the line of controls along with Pakistan military forces. This force is also managed by Special Security Unit (SSU) to provide special support to Sindh Police. Currently, this organization is operating under the commandment of Major-General Mr. Muhammed Amir Majeed (Punjab Rangers) and Major-General Mr. Iftikhar Hassan (Sindh Rangers).

Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Rangers 2024
The recruitment in this organization is carried out according to the standards set down by Pakistan Rangers Recruitment Rules 1968, which are:
- Height shouldn’t be less than 5ft 3inches.
- Age shouldn’t be less than 18 and more than 30years.
- Weight shouldn’t be less than 121lbs.
- Marital status should be unmarried during the training period.
- Education shouldn’t be less than FA/FSC or equivalent.
- Education standards for ex-servicemen shouldn’t be less than matric.
- Medically unfit candidates will not be allowed for recruitment.
