About Lahore High Court
The Lahore High Court was founded on the 21st of March, 1882 by the British Empire in undivided India. This court is based on the administration of the Principal Seat (which is present in Lahore District and operates under the management of the Registrar) while the Rawalpindi Bench, Bahawalpur Bench, and Multan Bench operate under the management of the Senior Additional Registrar. This court comprises 2 major departments, i.e. NJP Implementation Cell and Research Center. This court is authorized by the 1973 constitution of Pakistan to appeal to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The High Court of Lahore is currently functioning under the leadership of Chief Justice Mr. Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan and Senior Puisne Judge Mr. Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti. This court is presently operating with a vision of providing judgments based on complete fairness, merit, transparency, justice, probity, and equity.
