Lahore Waste Management Company was founded on the 19th of March 2010 by ex-Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Shehbaz Sharif. This company was established to manage the solid waste of Lahore city by recovering, treating, and disposing of the waste in an integrated system of waste management. This organization is providing multiple quality services, i.e. Mechanical Sweeping, Manual Sweeping, Mechanical Washing, Mist Machine, Operations on Special Occasions, Waste Facilitation for Cooperative Housing Societies, Operations at Fruit & Vegetable Markets, etc. This organization is functioning with the vision of transforming Lahore into one of the cleanest cities in the world by ensuring a clean environment through door-to-door collection and removal of waste. This organization is currently operating under the leadership and management of Chairman Mr. Amjad Ali Awan and Director Mr. Syed Ghazanfar Abbas Jillani.
