About Overseas Pakistanis Foundation
The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation was founded and registered in the year 1979 under the 1979 Emigration Ordinance. This public sector company is functioning with the objective of providing government support to the overseas Pakistanis so that those overseas members can meet basic human needs related to health, shelter, education, and food. This foundation comes under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development which is directly authorized by the Federal Government of Pakistan. This foundation is providing multiple services to overseas Pakistani nationalists such as housing schemes, vocational training, financial assistance, foreign employment compensation/dues, assistance in crisis, education, and health services. This organization is presently functioning under the management of Chairman Board of Governors Mr. Ishrat Ali, Managing Director Dr. Amer Sheikh, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Ministry Overseas Pakistanis & HRD Mr. Syed Zulfikar Abbas.
