About Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation
The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation is commonly known as PTDC in Pakistan. This corporation was founded 51 years ago on the 30th of March 1970. This corporation was established to develop and manage domestic tourism projects in order to promote Pakistan as a tourist friendly destination. This organization is functioning by developing and maintaining hotels and motels infrastructure within Pakistan to publicize Pakistan’s tourist products in order to promote domestic tourism in country. PTDC is based on multiple subsidiaries, i.e. PTDC Motels North (Pvt.) Ltd., PTDC Motels South (Pvt.) Ltd., Associated Hotels of Pakistan, and Pakistan Tours (Pvt.) Ltd. The main vision of PTDC is to enable a safe environment of tourism by providing the tourists world class facilities of international standards. This organization is currently operating under the management of Special Assistant to Prime Minister (Human Resources Development) Mr. S. Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari.
